I would laugh my ass off if Axl wrote 2 songs about cigars...![]()
Well...he wrote 20 songs about Slash...
It's one of those fucking interludes we never got, isn't it?My understanding nothing is a ending to a song.

Also forgetting Axl said The General was on the 3rd record.
3rd record.
It certainly is a compelling prototype for that anywayIn the future CD era will be used in a MKuktra type torture program.
There aren't enough songs for a trilogy.3rd record.
As in what wasn't on CD (first 2 records) is the 3rd record.
In Axl's mind.
Hypothetically.
So The General is on the 3rd record.
CD is a double record. There aren't enough songs for a trilogy.
The trilogy crap started in the 2000s.
How many songs was Chinese Democracy supposed to have then?
18 + 10 B sides.
He didn't even have enough back then to pull it off.
Also take into consideration he walked this back and said Baz didn't hear as many albums as he thought he did.
Did he initially want to do a trilogy? Possibly... probably.
The problem with relying on the diary of a madman is the complete lack of ambition and follow through in this case. This guy ain't Roger Waters whipping up masterpieces left and right all day long. He's David Gilmour who thinks he can do it all but he can't because he doesn't have the ability.
It all winds up being what George W. Bush would refer to as "fuzzy math".
Prostitute theme wise.Axl said in 2006 on the Eddie Trunk show that they were working on something that wasn't even on the first 2 records.
It could've been more Axl bullshitting but shows his head was still in that place then.
I think the only 3rd album song is Catcher which makes sorta kinda a little bit of sense but not much.
If CD1 is the weepy record, CD2 is the angry record then CD3 is the picking up the pieces record. Perhaps, Catcher, Atlas... and what else?
I think they switched a few songs around, it seems like so far the songs are less nu metal. Atlas was meant to be on CD so maybe it was replaced with TIL or Scraped.I think CD3 would be poised to be the UYI return to the GNR sound album, if anything.
I'm pretty sure this was on a setlist in 2006 or something. People wrote it off as a Doors cover. Anyway, would be great to hear all of those. No idea how some of them got turned into full songs.
Yep, it's a damn shame he wasted his last shot at relevance on a tour no one will ever see but us.God damn Axl sounded so fucking good back then.
Funny how after 20 years and counting, the King shits of hoarder mountain, dudes who live to brag, gloat, and strut down the street, have never even pretended there was the existence of a third albums worth of songs
