They could have done rage fit album with Beavan but then on second album in 2002 used RTB for TWAT and Catcher. But maybe they didn't have the songs.

Absurd isn't much different. Is Catcher and Perhaps that different. Slash has really done a great job making them more palatable to the masses.

I mean from marketing perspective which is how you sell records. The follow up to the universally hated album?

You take these leftover CD III songs and mix them with remixes and live versions. 
 

Better and Chi dem studio Slash versions. 
 

Vinyl only release.

But now they use same songs with Slash  but distance them from CD. 
 

He made Silkworms into a semi hit. 
 

HS isn't quite from the CD era really? 
 

I think most people don't know or care. It sounds like GNR, Slash is there.

oh. Fair point but there’s not money in music it’s just justification to tour. It should be treated like GNR Lies a bone to the hardcore with maybe 1 public hit but doubt it

They kind of had the chance with HS and Perhaps. 
 

Atlas is maybe the last one. 
 

After that Soul Monster. 
 

That 9 track album idea isn't so bad. A kind of Lies 2. Basically 1 record. 
 

It could be a way to release Atlas and Soul Monster. 
 

I think Berlin and Nothing could another A side, B Side. 
 

Agenda 2030 is not a bad idea. I think they still have one more album in them. 
 

They don't even hard to tour it. They just release it as a farewell album.

I think atlas and Oklahoma are the last ones I could see without hearing what’s in the vault. CD is in modern parlance, incel music. Release something strippers can dance to or you can cry about, drink a bottle of wine, and then finger yourself in the bath. Don’t confused strippers. Saint Manson be praised.

The entire planet considers The Wall a double album.

About 50 people on GNR forums consider Chinese Democracy a double album.

If going down this road, is Lies an EP (as initially marketed) or is it an LP?

You make some valid points though.

The Wall gets a pass for the short songs because it's a concept album linking the story together.

It feels like a double... because it is.

CD doesn't have that going for it.

You're right. A lot of this stuff is slipping through the cracks of history.

The leaks of 2006 and 2019 rhyme and it was barely acknowledged by anyone.

One reason why the hoarders laugh at and mock everyone.

All this stuff has been said before and will be said again. But it’s not like there’s some secret decoder ring somewhere that will get us leaks if we get the correct answer. Jackamo tried doing an Elf on a Shelf thing for Silkworms that was so difficult everyone stopped trying. 
 

It just gets old. Going through all the effort for songs 1000 people care about. New GNR is the most popular indie band to never make it.

Instead of Jackamo going over the top and barreling into the trenches, I wish Razz had followed through on his empty threats somehow.

We came close to the floodgates opening in 2006. Before it could happen, it got shut down and they begrudgingly leaked Catcher to shut us up.

Catcher and "Checkmate" were not supposed to get out. The trade bait clips leaked which almost exposed the whole kit and caboodle.

No one was supposed to know there were more discs.

It is sad though that it's 2023 and there's still material that hasn't surfaced...and everything we did get, we should've gotten years earlier.

It doesn’t make sense from any way imaginable. GNR is not making bank on a Chinese box after Axl dies. If anything Fernando will drop the masters in the water like that scene in Hail, Caesar! Now, now,’now. It’s always been now. Have people been as pro-Axl than after the locker leaks? The guy is a scholar at missing opportunities… just sad
