I've been hard on Ain't it Fun.

Down on the Farm is like another YCBM. With Absurd vocals.

Yo Igg Check it out. That guy, right there, gone!

Black Leather is a shit song.

They should have recorded an actual Sex Pistols song and not this throwaway from the last days of the band when they were only 2 people left from the actual band left standing.

Any hatred towards I Don't Care About You is retarded.

FEAR made what was and still is one of the classic albums that defines American punk rock in the Early 80s.

Your lucky I quit being a Mod,

I think anyone that don't like this album should be Bannished to the Mygina Forum for being a pussy.

“Song vote” my ass!

It's like Led Zeppelin

......without all the crazy rock star attitude, drugs, woman, symbolism, occult,

I bet they don't even use Mudsharks on their groupies.

Boooring.

It's what American Idol would sound if they did a Led Zeppelin Episode.

Way too clean, it's just not natural.

Without talent and quality as well. This fag of a lead singer talks in British accent (or what he thinks is British accent) and he's from fucking Detroit  :classic_laugh:

I wonder if they picked that “Pistols” tune so the Royalties would go to Jones & Cook? They seemed to pick tunes based on that. (Monroe on the album gets a royalty, but not covering a Hanoi Rocks tune meant McCoy didn’t)

IDCAY is the tune I wished they’d done during the illusions tour instead of Attitude every night. I’m surprised it’s made it this far though, I didn’t think folk would be into it other than the punk heads.

This was a defining moment for a lot of  would be and soon to be musicians:

I know it's confusing, @Sydney Fan. It's a tough one, this album. Anytime Guns attempts anything approaching punk (including hiring Doof McKenzie), it results in militant gayness. To my ears, at least.

Malibu obesity champion Axxxl singing punk stuff just never sat right with me.

Yep its a hard one. Fat Leather just has that swagger and its probably my favourite off the whole album. Mainly to the bands credit they kept muff of the mic and there are no multiple vocal overdubs.

Butterbean Axxl singing Down On The Fat Farm with the british accent very much oozes gayness.

Agreed, brother. The swagger is there. Big points for keeping Doof far away from the mic for this recording.

Spaghetti is the point where I get far more critical of GNR in general. I'm far more forgiving when it comes to the turds on the Illusions. Maybe it's just a nostalgia thing for me.

This video reminds me how backwards we have gone in the last 20 years as far as music, and culture.

They purposely brought in people to slam dance and have a mosh pit on SNL in 1982,

meanwhile the Nightclubs that have replaced the ones I grew up with in my city , now follow the cities new rules that outlaw slam dancing or mosh pits because 'they could be dangerous'

Wasn't that they whole point of punk and metal club shows. The danger was half the reason we were all there.

It don't matter which side of the political spectrum you fall on,

there is no more freedom in the USA.
