Except he can't hit high notes anymore. Time to use Melissa more prominently.

Everyone defending this shit because it "sounds better" is missing the point. Normies expect Axl to hit high notes. Axl knows.

His voice was fucked to the point where he couldn't attempt the mickey voice, but it could be a blessing in disguise.

Even when he regains whatever high voice he has left, he should use it sparingly on certain songs. would casuals really gonna complain about Down On The Farm and Bad Obsession replacing Better and Hardschool, as long as they hear WTTJ, SCOM and the other 3-4 biggest hits?

Exactly

I just watched the show.

I've given Axl alot of grief on the Fatcast and here.

He switched to a lower register and ya it doesn't sound like vintage Axl , but it didn't sound bad. Overall it was good. I'd rather this than the alternative.

And I.ove Carrie Underwood. She's awesome

So... as soon as an openly honest review started to spread about his shit voice, Axl even annoucing his own shittiness on stage?

Just watched SCOM with Carrie

Axl sounds like the usually shitty self

can't wait to watch more, i'd prefer a compilation

Seems Axl is finally done and after this tour(if he is even able to "pull it off"), there will be no more live GNR

He might even try to get a vocal coach/get in shape vocally or whatever, but this is baaad

I can't even say that it was good while it lasted, because he had been shit for more than a decade now with few exceptions

Full low nightrain

this was legitimately not so bad

If only he could make this work by occasionaly having actual power on his mids and release a few screams (one or two per song...)

You know, something an actual vocal coach and regular training /rehearsing could help him unless the problem is physical  and permanent this time....

They'll probably dropping a few songs instead and having guest vocalist etc. and this tour and the band finally will be  over by/around 2023

I'm almost certain that we will get a new studio album after the end of live touring or after Axl kicks the bucket...

or may not get anything new GNR ever and we could only wait for the hoarders to leak all they've got....

Team Brazil is to fucking blame (as always).  If beta would have been honest with him, this could have been prevented.

:beta:  you would think his bandmates would offer some sort of input.  But would rather be counting the money at the end of each show.

I don't mind the idea of a pop acoustic show.

With a few hard rock classics that need a guest singer.

Low talking seems like the future but I'm sure Mickey will return for a cover of Fantasia, Sorcerer's Apprentice

intro music or solo
