I Agree with Adler. Everytime especially with doing guest spots on the NA 2016 run the band actually sounded like GNR.
The General is far worse. TIL sounds decent instrumentally. It is Axl’s uber gay lyrics and horrible rhyming scheme that lands TIL in the outhouse. The General is pure torture instrumentally and vocally. He should have given the song to the US government to use as part of their torture routine for Muslim terrorists.

I can't believe Axl isn't embarrassed by it. The original instrumental was probably interesting enough to work on, but the guy decides to write a deeply personal song about a horrific topic... and shits out one verse that seems like it was, in fact, written by a child.
We know there's better, more complete songs in the vault. It really seems like they released the General to finally shut people up about mythical CD songs... and to their credit, it mostly worked.
