I think its because there has been no "plan" to this reunion over the last 10 years other than constant touring with a GH setlist in order to make money, and the fanbase is disappointed the reunion could have been so much better.I'm puzzled why anyone on a GnR site would root for the band to fail. To possibly get a shitty leak you'll listen to a few times and then bury on your hard drive vs. your favorite band succeeding should be a no brainer. And the truth is we're probably not getting much until team Brazil inherits the rights to these unreleased songs. That's definitely not something anyone should be actively rooting for. It's sad to me personally that as a lifelong fan for 40 years I have little to no desire to see them live again. I took my three kids in 2023 that'll probably be the last time I ever saw them. I've been to a dozen or so shows since 2002 and have a lot of great memories of the first ten. The last two I felt embarrassed for Axl to see him struggle. It's not something anyone wants to see their childhood idols go through.
Fans are boycotting tickets, and wanting the band to fail in the hope it forces the band to do something different.
if Axl thought more like Gene Simmons we would have got a best of reunion shows cd/dvd, most likely a new album and tour, a package tour with other bands either as a Vegas Residency or a themed "GNR Cruise", and better boxset material including more archive video footage.
The singles released were released as a way to shut the fanbase up about new music, and could have been released as a way to capitalise promoting a new tour.
Axls sounding like Ms Doubtfire at every show is becoming embarassing and hes oblivious to the fans noticing.
The whole reunion is running its course until its going to take someone at Live Nation to no longer promote another tour.
