I mean, the band is a total enigma as it is, without those confusing names.

the whole history of the band, is clouded in mist. In 100 years, when the book of rock history is written, the history of GNR will be absolutely riddled with uncertainties. When even the people who lived through the events as they happened, aren't really sure who is who and what is what.
