Vince at least still sounds like Vince.

He got fat and sloppy but go and watch say US Festival 83...it's not night and day like it is with Axl now.

I didn't think that Rod Stewart performance was that bad for an 80 year old either.

Again, still recognisably Rod Stewart.

Axl legit sounds like Mickey Mouse or a lousy, drunk Axl impersonator.

Yep absolutely but they will probably adopt the Stones touring model.

Tour for 6 months playing in certain cities in certain countries then take 12-15 months off, rinse and repeat. Especially so Slash can focus on SKMC during those 12 months off.

Axl's vocal range is much greater than the crooners like Tom or Sinatra. 
 

There aren't many singers who could pull off the GNR set list at Axl's age. 
 

It's a GNR Convention. Go see the livin' legends before they out live you. 

 
I had kept away from watching recent Brian Johnson AC/DC performances, but I watched a bunch last night and he's actually not bad

So the 95% deaf guy who got kicked out of the band for having bad vocals sounds better than Axl

I did the same out of sheer respect for what an ass kicking machine ACDC have been for all these years.

But you're right, Brian isn't that bad.

 
Brian's kicking Axl's fat behind. Yeah, Brian's slipped but he's Pavarotti compared to Mickey Mess.

While we're at it, Angus still gives it his all and expends a ton of energy on stage every night. Splosh remains pretty much stationary for his paycheck job.

Both bands are a scab-fest these days but at least AC/DC still put in some effort. Angus won't tolerate bad performances. Axl recruits guys into the band without having heard or even met them in person ONCE, a decades-long practice. Always the "perfectionist". What a fat pile of shit.

2. Axl and the band are ironing out the kinks in the setlist in these early performances. To,

3. Its 2025 Axl we know what to expect.

How much more do people need to realise that his whole voice is done.

If Axl attempted any of Sinatras songs, it would be enough to make cranky franky roll around in agony in his grave.

Axl covering Sinatras " fly me to the moon" in either mickey or full grandma would be hilarious.

It's normally when he goes for high notes he goes Mickey. Songs like Easy, Bad Obsession, Chi dem before the rant seem fine.
 

But most songs have high parts built in. Even on DC, Patience and Sorry he can't get there. 
 

I doubt Tom or Frank could do Estranged or Coma. Let alone the full GNR set. 

 
I saw AC/DC on the recent run and Brian sounds way better than he has a right to. There might be a loss in power but he still sounds 85% Johnno. Axl sounds like 4 different guys that can’t sing delivering a song. 
 

If anyone has the chance to see Acca Dacca and is on the fence I’d say go. I enjoyed that gig as much as I did my first AcDc show 30 years ago.
