He could've laid a full album with these vocals in 2016 !

Axl rose is still king dick troll.

I hold out hope that he is just lazy because he already has their money.

AC/DC was 6 or 7 years ago, which is a few decades in Axl years, but that was proof positive that he doesn't bring his A-game to the GNR tour.

The product GNR deliver for the price is disgusting, but if festivals want to pay them to headline knowing how bad their show is, and people are happy to pay for tickets, who am I to get in the way of commerce?

The part that is even more difficult to make sense of is Axl/DC tickets were much cheaper than any of the recent GnR Tours.

Maybe if they cut Alex's pay he will still start singing again?

He was a mark for AC/DC and probably wanted to impress them so he was motivated that way. They seem to be one of his favorite bands growing up, GNR always covers them. I doubt he gave a shit about doing a good job for the fans, since he doesn't seem to with GNR.

GNR is a job, AC/DC was a passion. That sort of thing.

I’d agree at this stage of his life 6-7 years might as well be 20 vocally. But I genuinely believe his voice is shot. You got the the last of the rasp at the AC/DC gigs. Axl always had to force or put on that rasp, some singers have it naturally Lemmy, Cobain, Brian Johnson and a few others. If it’s there more naturally it’ll last longer, if it’s something your forcing, your vocal chords will eventually thin out.

This. The last paragraph.

I always thought Axl wanted to do a good performance as a way of hopefully doing a studio song on a future ACDC record.

Meanwhile on Gina:

The more I listen to his live performances nowadays, the more I'm convinced that If you asked him to sing whatever song exactly like he did in 1992, he would sing exactly like he did in 1992. He's still capable of doing it, I'm 100% sure he could do it in the studio with no problems.

Probably he won't be able to sing like this every night for the whole tour, and that's the only reason why hechooses different singing style - to maintain his voice.
