Yeah. Spin control and propaganda from both sides of the fence.

They've been conning us for decades.

Remember the infamous Axl statement about Slash being a cancer and the less said about him the better, and then Axl and the GNR camp spend the next 2+ years doing nothing but talking about him?

 
If The General doesn't get a surprise release tomorrow is it safe to assume they're really going with a vinyl exclusive?

Hard Skool/ Absurd coincided with SMKC 4 Album 

Perhaps/ The General coincides with Duffs - Ladyboy PMS Blues album 

Is this a marketing strategy?

Using the Singles to deflect the obvious question

......why these guys have New Albums, 

and not GNR after 7/8 Years together? 

A:

"But they do have new record out also, 

A 7" from an upcoming album that don't exist"

I see it more like GNR singles are Axls material Slash  and Duff are helping him complete, but they still want to put new stuff out. But they are happy with the GNR tour money and aren't that excited about risky new GNR material. So solo stuff is more fun than the terror of new material. 

Help Axl to get GNR money and don't fuck up the legacy.

I always thought releasing Constipators4 was a deviant troll from Slash to Mr Shiny Pants.

 
I've totally forgotten when this thing is actually coming out. 

Just look at the Stones slick release for Hackney Diamonds. 

Then compare with the GNR Trainwreck.
