Considering the fact this is before Epstein was ever arrested and he was the only one that worked with the police to put him away, I would disagree with your premise.

Don't forget the lawyer representing the victims is on record saying when he reached out to prominent figures Trump was the only one who was willing to talk and even helped out in the investigation. Just admit you hate Trump and you're disappointed the Epstein files weren't the smoking gun you hoped for.
