TV Party

Start Up on Netflix.

A corrupt sex addicted FBI agent trying to break up a Shit coin company funded by Haitian gangs.

Working my way through Peaky Blinders again, the 6th season has started and I think it’s the last, I’m hoping it’s all finished broadcasting by the time I’ve gone through the other seasons.

Seriously what is wrong with James Corden. This guy has levels of cringe I've never seen before in a mortal man.

90 seconds. Give me 90 seconds with that fat fucker. Enough time to beat him senseless, and have fun while beating him. Any longer would be sadistic, anything shorter just wouldn’t be enough time to get the point across.

Is he sitting around that table with the writers for his show he tried to fuck over?

The Sopranos... Which watched an episode or two when it was on TV back in the day, but I’ve never watched the full show. I think I’ll start into it this weekend. On a scale of 1 - Goodfellas, how good is it?

(Miser re-registering intensifies)

Wife and I just started watching Lost. I love watching insanely popular shows long after they're done. It lets you binge everything, and mentally prepare yourself if there was fallout from writing going to shit. I watched Breaking Bad years ago when I was laid off one winter. 5, 6, 7 episodes a day.

Lost is another I never watched, is it worth the time?

Lost is decent when it was simply a Robinson Crusoe thing (seasons 1-2) and then it just tanks quickly as it veers into sci-fi/Lynch areas; showrunners were clearly pulling stuff out their arse to produce the cliff hanger effects. I gave up somewhere around season 4-5 so I didn't even make it to the much hated ending.

Thanks for the take on Lost lads, I’ll give it a go at some point. Mad Men is worth watching for sure. That redhead alone is worth watching...

Sopranos still holds up, but it's a lot less novel then when it premiered.  I think people liked it so much cause it had naked titties and they said "fuck" and people got popped in the head.  You didn't see that a lot in TV shows back in 1999, but it's really commonplace now.

If you watch Sopranos, just stop after the season three finale.  It's all downhill from there.  For the love of god, avoid the "movie" that came out last year at all costs.

LOST is one of the biggest wastes of time ever imposed on a mass audience.  The writers insisted that it was all gonna make sense and they had a plan all along, but they were lying through their fucking weasel teeth.  Every week they just made up more shit and flung it like apes at a zoo, seeing what would stick to the wall.  None of it makes any fucking sense, none of the mysteries are answered in any logical or satisfying ways, a vast majority of the mysteries are just plain abandoned, none of the continuity makes any sense or fits together.  It is an absolute waste of fucking time and I wish I could have all those hours of my life back.  I'll never subject myself to that horseshit nonsense again.

Mad Men sucks too.  It's hand down the most boring and slow TV drama I've ever subjected myself to, call cause "critics" ranted and raved about how "amazing" it was.  It wasn't.  It had ONE great character, Don Draper, and every time he wasn't onscreen it was like watching paint dry.  Peggy Olsen is ugly as shit and almost as annoying.  All the supporting characters are boring as fuck.  I will never understand why TV critics collectively jizzed themselves over this boring ass, lame TV show for dead people.

LOST was a total fucking rip off alright.

What a load of bollocks.

Lady DOOM (and sort of me too) have been watching the Westworld series, and it gives me heavy LOST vibes too...

I think I reached season 4ish when I realised they were just pulling the stuff out of their arse and there was no direction whatsoever: ''how wacky can we be for today's episode? Let's have a bear turn up on the island?''

Severance

It’s a combination of The Office mixed with a bit of Lost and The Matrix with standard modern Hollywood every color of the rainbow casting and homosexual affectations but it’s not horrible. That said, I don’t think it’s payoff will be worth it. Season 2 can only become more preachy and stupid.

I'm not sure I watched a show called Vinyl about music industry in 70s. It was created by Jagger and Scorsese.
