It is what it is. I love my Thunder but the Spurs beat us 1-5 in the regular season. I wasn't as certain with them with Jalen Williams out too.

Shit doesn't hurt me as much anymore. No more ten page essays crying about how I'll never see my home team win.

Now only a month until I see the Kyler Murray circus in Minneapolis. God that will be fun.

He's so good. You have to like this Knicks team.

Some Spurs player was all up in Brunson's face trying to start something, and Brunson just said nothing and stared him down.

Wemby's antics are rubbing off on this entire Spurs team. Just watch his mannerisms on the floor. You cannot expect a team to play championship basketball when your leader is an over emotional punk.

No team has ever come back to win the Finals after starting 0-2 on their own floor.

This could have been it unless Wemby takes a cheap shot at Brunson, which is what I expect him to do.
 
You gotta give it up to KAT too. Anyone who has ever played sports has had a teammate like KAT. He is your stereotypical talented ogre who thwarts their talent by making bonehead plays at the most critical times in the game. But KAT has figured something out during these playoffs and has been playing the best basketball of his career.

The starting lineup for The Knicks has been fantastic. They are playing some of the best team basketball I have seen in a long time.

Wemby’s skill doesn’t match his height and wingspan advantage. He should be averaging over 30 points a game based on his physical advantages alone. He also acts like he is entitled to a championship because his ego is so huge that he thinks he is already one of the best players of all time.

KAT seems like he has a good head on his shoulders too. I was sad to see him leave Minnesota because ANT and KAT were the greatest players to come since Kevin Garnett.

And you are absolutely right about Wemby. His ego is going to be a detriment to this Spurs team. He's not a team leader. He has terrible sportsmanship. Did you see that play where it was a dead ball foul, Brunson takes a three and Wemby just smashes it out of the hoop and starts hollering and clapping? Brunson just walked away. Just watch Wemby on the court in between plays. He has a stunted personality. He acts like a child.

Brunson is the bigger man throughout this series. The Spurs keep getting into his face, and taking cheap shots, and he just keeps his mouth shut and plays.

He's a winner.

Wemby will probably win a championship just because his talent level can overcome his personality problems. I think Mitch Johnson is a fucking moron for not playing him at the post more. He's had all season to learn the 5. Now he's just a perimeter player with a bad handle.
 
I don’t understand why Wemby doesn’t post up almost every play. He should be posting up and shooting the Kareem skyhook. Instead he stands out on the perimeter and shoots threes. He is probably too much of a pussy to post up. Wemby also doesn’t usually play that many minutes. Castle, Wemby, and Harper are all still super young though. The fact that they are already in the finals is a good sign. Presti needs to find OKC a more reliable second scorer and they’ll be right back in the finals. Maybe he will package Chet or Jaylen Williams and trade up to get someone in this draft. His drafting record is impeccable. And even though he didn’t draft SGA, he clearly saw something that no one else did. It is crazy that he has drafted and traded for 4 league mvp’s in KD, Russ, Harden, and SGA.

This series reminds me a little of when Dirk’s Mavs beat LeBron’s stacked Miami team. San Antonio has the edge in young talent, but Brunson knows how to close out these games. He also has a certain humility that Wemby will never have.

Well, to be fair, he IS a child. He's 22. He has almost zero life experience, especially off the basketball court.

The Spurs team is made up of kids. If they toughen up mentally, they'll be more of a threat in the years to come. They don't deserve this now, though.

I hate seeing all those smug ass New Yorkers thinking they're hot shit again. 75% of Knicks fans are just fairweather Johnny-come-latelys. They're gonna brag how unstoppable this team is, and it deserves to top "all time best" lists because of their winning streak in the post-season. But get real. Look at the absolute dogshit teams they faced, not the least of which is the Cavs. Whoever won OKC/Spurs was gonna be gassed as hell from seven grueling games. Knicks just cruise to the Finals playing on easy mode against abysmal teams. Feels like a tainted championship.
 
Trump getting assassinated while sitting court side at the Knicks game would be the perfect television ending to his presidency. I wonder if you can bet it on polymarket.
 
Wemby is such a cheap shot artist. That was total bullshit when he pushed Brunson over and the refs didn’t call it. If I was coaching the Knicks I would bring in a backup who doesn’t normally play and have them throw an elbow into Wemby’s face.

This series is blatantly rigged. Follow the money. Wemby is an international superstar. Nothing better to have Wemby win a title to bring in fans from France.

We are going to see a lot more of this. Hopefully some players wake up and get tired of it.
