Premier League / Soccer

@wasted

Isak just signed for Liverpool.

(thought I’d start a dedicated thread to all things soccer)
Ekitke has been playing well. But Isak is more goals. Scary squad. Ekitke off the left or Gakpo. Isak injury prone as well.

Somehow Liverpool keep winning and Man city lost to Brighton.

FPL nightmare.

2 bad GWs but I held my nerve and capt Bruno and got Sarr in. Basically buying all the players I had in first draft instead of the template fear. I made same note last year and didn't do it.

Of course Forest lost to useless West Ham. Spurs lost. Only team that looks predictable is Chelsea. With Liverpool winning 3-5 every week.

Villa are testing my patience. Watkins is usually solid. But at 9 mil I can get Goryres or Eteki. Pedro is cheap.

Yeah… I don’t know if it’s good or bad to have 9 points after the 3 weeks playing cack or what. I recall a lot of late winners and 3-2 wins during United’s glory years. It can be the sign of a good team or a shitty team, we haven’t been shit but we’re far from solid at the back. Guehi hopefully signs for us… I have stoned notions of Ekitike & Isak being the new Yorke & Cole… It’ll be interesting to see what Slot puts together with the squad, I think it’ll be rotation and guys coming off the bench as needed. He hasn’t been afraid to make switches at half time or any point in the second half. Klopp made every fucking substitution on the 70 minute mark. The opposition knew exactly when the fresh legs were coming. Slot is more of a gambler and all the great managers are.

United are above City in the table  :pepelol:

87/100 for my bunch of cunts. I played the wildcard and for a few days had Enzo in and then took him out, if I’d left him in he wouldn’t have done what he did. I have the shit total of 136 after 3 weeks
Some of the best players who get 10k finish every year are the same. Injuries to Frimpong, Ait Nouri, Cunha. Watkins not doing anything. Wirtz blanking. Not having Harland or Pedro. I had Fulkrug. Just shoot me.

But held Bowen and he scored. Some had Dewsbury Hall for 5.
Brentford are rubbish but Thiago keeps scoring. Wizza is staying I think.

Lacroix at Palace might be an option or Mateta as well. Guehi at 4.5 if he stays.
Palace Sunderland - Mateta
Burnley Liverpool - Ekitke or Gakpo

Isak is good but he was injury prone. With Europe 2 strikers are needed. Ekitke can play off the left. So he can come on for Gakpo or Isak. Or play 4-2-4.

Without Gravenbrnch they were very open. Like united are with Bruno and Cassimero in mid.
Liverpool play with 2 defenders. Kerkez is a wing back. But full of goals.

Liverpool are designed to thrash the lower teams who park the bus. Score a lot of goals but also concede.
But if they can beat Arsenal 1-0 then its the perfect blend.
Arsensl can draw 1-1 away to Burnley or Fulham.
Chelsea look the most calm 2-0 wins. Barely trying.

I reckon they finish ahead of Arsenal this season…
Arteta is too into his system. But he foes like a 0-0 away at rivals.

Chelsea have recalled Guiu from Sunderland. So if you have 3 chelsea you have transfer him out.

Free Hit played. Loading up on Pool and Palace. Chelsea.

I played the wild card… Fuck this game.

It's good to have free transfers after Int break cos everyone will be injured. Or flying back from Brazil.

I'll WC gw5 anyway. Most will do it by gw7. Around gw7 Arsensl fixtures get better. So people will be wild carding in Arsensl players.

Seems like England underwhelming against Andorra. doesn't really matter, at least 3 players out.

WC is going to be horrible conditions, walking pace football in the heat. Possession and clean sheets to QF then lose to Germany on pens.

Serbia is going to be the hard game. Not a game for Rashford.

I was surprised with Ireland this evening, they played well in the second half albeit against 10 men and got a draw. That World Cup will be a nightmare with the heat for sure

It's across all North America or something. Mexico, US, Canada.

That's a good result 2-2. Ireland have a team of mid table prem players. But Hungary have a few top players like Szoboszlai, Kerkez, Varga. Watching highlights Ireland threw it away first half but had so many chances. Should've won.

I normally support England, Wales and Ireland in WC as England can be kind of boring watching them

try to break down an army east european soldiers. Wales were in some open games last WC. With bunch of chancers like Rodon and Neco. Bale saved them a few times.

Scotland aren't looking up to much. They have Mcgann and Napoli superstar McTominay and a few prem players.
N Ireland only have Deavenny from

Palace and Bradley from Liverpool by looks of it.
