Guns N Roses World Tour 2026 - You Get Nothing, You Lose, Good Day Sir !

The last 10 years of the reunion has showed this band has no 'plan' except constant touring to make money until no one is buying tickets.
Anyone who has wanted to see them has had mutiple tours to do so.
There has been no plan on releasing the singles, not even as an ep.
I dont know why Live Nation agreed to do a stadium tour knowing they wont sell out stadiums without major discounting or giving tickets away. This cant be an ongoing business plan.
Slash has Constipators album and tour all next year.
This is becoming the end.

The constant touring part was apparent by the end of nuGNR... then they played the reunion card and bought a few years. Unfortunately they waited too long to capitalize on anything else - people don't care about CD leftovers and Axl's voice is too fucked for an AFD5 tour.

Live Nation probably agreed because a heavily discounted or half-full stadium is still better than a sold out arena in terms of profit. It's the band that should feel weird about it. But they're a touring jukebox and this is as easy as it gets for them, so I really can't blame them for grabbing the cash.

The best time I've seen Slash in the last decade was by far his blues tour... a nice summer evening in a park, with good support bands, cheap tickets, and Slash with a great band doing classic covers. Slash actually playing his own pedal board with amps on stage. I'd get tickets for another Serpent fest in a heartbeat. Even Duff seems to actually enjoy playing for 50-500 people on any given night. I'd even say Bumblefoot was that kinda guy, he was more under the thumb of Axl and TB but still channelled his efforts into solo stuff. This isn't becoming the end, we're well into the 3rd and final act of this band.

In an alternate timeline, we would have had the reunion shows with an Izzy appearance at those last 2017 LA shows.
Early 2018 time off then in the same year a CD2 release with the 94/5 duff/izzy sessions. The band would spin and promote the material as a "new album" , then tour which would have got them to the beginning of COVID.
Post COVID in 2022 a full nostalgic Illusions anniversary tour with no CD material, a guest Izzy appearance during an NA run, and a full Illusion era stageshow and setlist which, if this could have been done right, could have been a huge money spinner.
Then take time off for the others to do their solo shit for a couple of years which would get us to now.
For all the bands years in the music biz, and while nostalgia sells, i actually thought Axl would have a strategic money hungry brain, and i emphasis the word strategic.

Asking a bipolar dude to strategize is like asking a toddler to reason - it might happen once in a while, but more often than not they just end up crying and shitting themselves

Beta could go into Axl's house tomorrow and say "Slash's vibes are evil", and then the reunion ends - I really hope someone close to the band exposes Team Brazil for taking advantage of him like Eugene Landy took advantage of Brian Wilson

Axl is an embarrassment to rock and roll. Fuck him and all the losers who still pay money to see this shit. It will be a glorious day when live nation finally pulls the plug.

Team Brazil and LN are going to continue this until we have Vegas residencies and Axl does an Elvis and ends up having a heart attack on his Malibu toilet.
A Vegas residency has to be inevitable.
Axl is the new Elvis, GNR are just Axls backing band, Team Brazil are Col. Parker, and Live Nation are Concert West ( Elvis 70's era promoters).

Axl would be respected if he sang in his normal register like he did at that one show a few years ago when he got sick. Elton John did it and it worked fine. Axls normal voice sounds 97% as good as it did in the 90s.

But when youre actually at a gig in person, the Herbert voice doesn't sound nearly as bad as it does on video. Its all just a wall of sound anyways. You aren't nitpicking the vocals. He sounds fine with a wall of crowd noise and drunk soccer moms yelling in your ear.

Manets said Rio 2011 was the greatest Axl ever sounded. I was front row at Philly 2012 which was supposed be some incredible gig according to rhe internet, but in the moment I couldn't tell it was any different than the 5 other shows I had seen in the previous 4 months.

Post Chinese Democracy release 2008 Axl has had very few great moments.

I don't know anything post the Canadian 2010 leg that was vocally good until 2016, Which in 2016 it was a show by show thing or Axl AC/DC.
 
If tickets aren't selling and the tour isn't even half over what would hypothetically live nation's position be ?

Last year GNR did nothing :pepelol: for the 40th anniversary of their first show with Slash and Duff on June 6th.

Do they annouce something this year ?
 
I thought Axl was very good for most of Europe 2010...helps those shows had better audio quality than the Canada ones. Some show in UCAP tour in 2012 were pretty good, but yeah, not a whole lot after 2010 lol.

2009 and 2010 were very good. 2010 was good past the Canadian leg. South America and Europe are great. Only towards the end he started slipping up a little and the Mickey voice appears. 2011-2017 are a major decline but not consistently terrible and some good moments. 2018 onwards is dogwater.

My point is not that Axl is actually good in person. But he doesn't sound nearly as terrible in person because its a wall of sound youre feeling in your chest rather than listening to through a speaker/headphones in a controlled enviornment. I went to Hershey Park 2023 with a buddy and they yelled in my ear that Axl sounded great after Reckless Life. I bet if I were to pull up a video of it it would sound like shit.
