Guns N’ Roses Bring Their Most Recent Single Back To The Charts

“Perhaps” is back on the Official Physical Singles chart, which measures the bestselling tracks in the U.K. on any physical format, such as CD, cassette, or vinyl. This week, the tune blasts onto the ranking at No. 71.

I'm going to guess it's a hit in the bargain bins the same way the Chinese Democracy CD was a hit at Dollar Tree

This is a chart that specifically measures physical single sales. Meaning, no streams. It's a puff piece.

It's likely something as simple as the Perhaps vinyl finally shipped to the UK after the delays, and three figures worth of them sold at various record shops across the UK. If someone can provide some context about what a single in the 75-100 range on that chart has to sell to get on it, but my guess would be not very many. 100?

There are apparently close to 500 record stores in the UK. So if each of those stores had a single pre-order for this dating back to when it was originally released, and they finally received the physical album this month, that's probably more than enough to get GNR charting. Look up some of the other singles on that chart in or around GNRs position, and you can deduce what you need to from it.

But in that case why would singles like SCOM and PC be on there? Can you even buy physical singles for those anymore? (Maybe you can idk)

Brexit did fuck the United Kingdom financially billions of pounds lost trade deals not secured and so much of this country is so politically divided its a crazy situation really. 'The General' should be the song in the charts as well because its a great song in my opinion and the YouTube video is excellent I like the blend of styles in the song structure and how Fortus and Slash link up as a guitar duel and Duffs thundering bass lines little bit of neat marketing and promotion and 'The General' released as a single can enter the charts as well and build momentum for any upcoming new single releases going to attend some shows this world tour and attend more gigs and get out of this hermit area in the United Kingdom England its cold and snowing this morning but extra layers of clothing and maybe due a walk soon after some porridge oats and coffee

That's why we need angry GNR music again like Slash and Mustaine 'Megadeth Rust In Peace era' style fast guitar licks and riffs and dirty girls who want what they need and blow who they want and late 70's era action films and 80's action movies back on the on demand markets to prepare the future generations for the outside world

We can only hope that finds it's way to GnR camp.  And if Trump runs out of things to fix you never know.  He might fix GnR.  Make Kid Rock ambassador of music and get these bums to start writing new music again.  Hollywood got Sly, Mel Gibson, and Jon Voight.  Executive order baby!
