Bad Apple Movie Theead

Its crazy that Im not going to see a new Star Wars movie for the first time in my life(?). But I could not care less about the Mandalorian and Grogu. Even the name is ridiculous. Who approved that?

Its like they saw the Gulp Shitto meme and decided "let's make that our title".
This was the first Star Wars theatrical release I've passed on as well. After seeing people's reactions from early screenings I didn't want to spend $100 plus taking my kids to see a shit movie. My daughter went to see it with a friend and said it was terrible and made no sense. They nailed the first two seasons and after that it went downhill fast.

I watched Season 1 and didn't find it as awesome as I was expecting to based on the fan reaction. I liked the overall vibe and the way it looked, but I couldn't tell you anything that happened plot wise.

I always planned on doing Season 2. I heard it was really good and wanted to give it another shot. Then some time went by and I started hearing about how they tied the show into 57 other spin off shows and older cartoons, and I decided it all felt like a chore to keep up. I think that may have been a reason this movie aint doing too good at the box office. People don't even know what's going on anymore. It used to be so simple.

Mandalorian could have ended at the end of season 2 and it would have been a great way to close the show. Then they made Book of Boba Fett and sprinkled quite a bit of Mando and Grogu in that it felt like Mandalorian 2.5. Lots of people hated Book of Boba but I personally really liked it. Mando season 3 and beyond is where they lost the plot. I would definitely recommend trying season 2 if nothing else.

People are just tired of Star Wars.

It worked when George Lucas was in control because the story was a classic and a new movie came out only every few years. Now Disney keeps putting out new stuff every month and the novelty doesn't exist anymore.
