They couldn’t even spice up the setlist. I would pick any kind of This I Love/The Blues/Madagascar/TWAT/If The World fat wailing over some Slither/WiSHITa/Doof cover in a heartbeat. Preferably TWAT since it’s the only song Slurp sounds half-decent on. If The World would be funny because the last time the fat man performed it, he still sounded competent.Frank’s a fucking atrocious drummer. He’s the worst drummer in a big band I can think of. 80% of how shit they sound is Axl & Frank.
They’re shit live, their box sets are extortion, there’s been less than 20 original tracks released by them in 31 years. It’s more a cult than a band at this stage.
AXL LINDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI love how instead of exercising to lose a double chin and neck fat, he’s come up with a different solution View attachment 3849
Brother, Franks brutal. He has no swing, no skip, no groove. It’s really noticeable on most tracks. He’s an ok drummer for maybe a different style, but with GnR he sounds lazy and plodding. The Guy wouldn’t last in a punk band! He can’t play that fast! He really struggled once the tempos went up with Slash & Duff back. Adler, Sorum, Brain… Frank isn’t at the same level, he’s just butchering most of the tunes.Frank isn't as bad as people say he is, but yea he's the worst GNR drummer. He's not a "bad" drummer but he's the wrong drummer. He's more punk than classic rock, and his sound is shit (mostly due to Caram) so yea he sticks out, but alongside Grandma Axl and Slash the Noodle Enthusiast, he's not the worst player in the band.

Nope these Aus and NZ shows are just to makeup for the originally slated shows moved due to covid. They couldn’t even spice up the setlist. I went to the Sabbath Hyde Park BST gig years back, the lineup was Sabbath, Motörhead, Faith No More & Soundgarden. No way GnR will top that! How will Axl be able to top the incredible performance he gave in London earlier this year? Will he let Carrie Underwood sing the whole set, instead of just the encore? Will we finally hear Mickey gasp his way through Fatlas Shrugged? Tune in next summer as the Never Ending In This Lifetime tour continues...

That sounds like a great show. I've never been a fan of Faith No More though.
Turn around bitch ive got a microphone for you.
“Sometimes we have to play the same set five nights in a row, but it's fine, you know, because it's a new crowd.
It’s a new crowd every night ya dumb blonde. When was the last time GNR played 5 nights in the same city?
I swear the bulk of the setlist they have been playing for the whole Aus dates.
“Last night, we played a setlist, like, it was all over the place,” McKagan tells me. “‘I don't know, let's throw in this now!’ We're not playing the same thing, you know.” Alongside songs from all eras of the band, one of the treats for Gold Coast was a cover of AC/DC’s Whole Lotta Rosie, played for the first time on this tour.
