I don't know if I agree with that list, but the TV show of Weird Science was fucking great.  WAY better than the movie.

Apparently he was doing it under the guise of "research". So he accesed a site, entered his credit card details and has Scotland Yard banging on his front door at 7am. 

I think he came out publically that he was abused as a child ( how Tommy was written) one if tge reasons as part of the " research".

The cops later dropped the charges as they couldnt prove anything.

I think cliff richard got more of a hard time from police doing background checking because of the entertainers he was supposed associated with during the 70s, than townsend was.

it had great humour, for a 16 year old viewing the show.
