The worst business decision Axl ever made was having a leaching brazilian family managing this band.
If you had of told Axl circa 86 to 91 that eventually a brazillian nanny and her family will be managing this band, he would have viewed as a joke.
No wonder Muff and Slash are smart enough to have their own seperate personal management team.
 
Didn't think he was doing that badly here until he switched to his high pitched voice for no reason lol

He should utilize that voice more often. It's nothing special but it works. He's used the frog rasp voice for Nightrain since the reunion and it always sounds horrible
 
Yeah, he also does that voice on the choruses on CD now too and I think it sounds better than the frog rasp. He also sings most of the end of Patience with that voice. They should do You're Crazy, but Axl would rather do Coma lol

I think "The Seeker" becoming a permanent set fixture is the band acknowledging that "You're Crazy" was just them plagiarizing the hell out of it

A speed-metal version of "The Seeker" might actually be cool

Live Nation and Umg know Team Brazil was the management team that got the reunion. Azoff, Merck, Goldstein and Mcgee couldn't get that done.

Give Azoff credit for boxing Axl into it but Team Brazil got the job done.

Now have they botched many things since the reunion 100% yes.

Just by the time Team Brazil had control what the majority of fans would call guns n roses was over.

Not to come across as a prick but from a fans perspective Team Brazil only got the reunion by way of Axl asking Fernando for Slashs number because the band were within a whisker of playing county fairs and bowling alleys.
That money doesnt pay the land tax bill on Axls Malibu mansion.
TeamBrazil were lucky Axl had driven the band/brand into the ground so they just played the long game.
The reunion i think was inevitable, its unfortunate we never got it when VR went tits up in 07.
 
I think Team Brazil got the job done simply by not trying (or maybe, they did actually want it - but they knew Axl much better than the prior managers and how to manipulate him).

Axl seems like the kinda guy that when cornered and forced to do something, he lashes out and pushes in the opposite direction. All those previous managers wanted a reunion above all else. Once he finally had them off his back, I think he opened up to the idea. Because he felt like he was in control. It was like the CEO put his own mom as chairman of the board. Reunion should have happened ten years earlier. Band should have retired in 2010.

100%. If Axl was still able to fill stadiums or even arenas before the reunion he would have let Slash starve before he got back on stage with him. By 2014/2015 he needed him and ate crow to keep selling tickets.
