Didn't want to post this but i guess I will. I had a lot of health setbacks with my foot after my accident last year so I've been in and out of the hospital.

Well beginning of June I started getting really sick and my foot swelled and my right leg tightened to the point I couldn't walk. Ended up in the ER where they determined an infection traveled through my foot and into leg. After 9 hours in the ER with a shit ton of antibiotics and CAT scans I was tranported to another hospital.

At this hospital the doctor told me if I waited 24 hours I would be dead due to how fast the infection spread. Sadly the infection got into my bone and in my blood and turned septic. The only way to stop the infection and save my life was to amputate my leg below the knee. So I was rushed into emergency surgery. Afterwards I was in the hospital for a week on a lot of antibiotics since the infection was still in my blood.

Doctors said I should be walking again in 2-3 months with a temporary prosthetic while my permanent one is being made. You guys cheered me up and were there for me after I lost my grandmother, brother, and father so I figured I needed to and should explain why I haven't been around.
I appreciate all of you and I have a long road ahead but I will be back to shiposting with you guys.

I dont know you personally but im so sorry to hear what you've gone through, I cant even begin to imagine what you've had to endure mentally and physically throughout this. I know this comes as no comfort but being on the right side of the soil beneath our feet is the best out of the two options, you were meant to make it and live a full life. I hope you keep recovering and find a new way forward, god speed brother
