i think there's a lot of misinformation about the youtube takedowns and the degree of my involvement in them due to my banning from mygnr and inability to defend myself properly against russtcb, downzy, brandon, etc's lies.

lest we forget the warchild takedowns were happening years and years before the Great YouTube Scrub of 2018.

99.9% of what i sent to warchild to have removed was links to gibbo's channel, because he was being a huge british cigarette about the whole thing on the old board. at one point i found it funny just to mess with him.

brandon, russ, etc saying i was targeting these rando youtube accounts, like that crazy miss metal lady who i don't even know, are not correct. at one point i had posted screenshots of warchild bragging to me in DMs about all the videos he had taken down from these people.

while i did participate, and absolutely encouraged warchild to go on a warpath, it's really not a fair statement to say i'm the person responsible for the youtube stuff.

and to be clear, there was no butthurt about Slash fans. i love a lot of Slash fans, and a lot of what Slash did during his first tenure in Guns N' Roses. unlike his work with Velvet Revolver, which i consider personally to be the toilet that would not flush, Slash's work with the old lineup of Guns was, alongside Axl, what made Guns N' Roses be Guns N' Roses. retards can moan all day long about "muh Popcorn Adler" and "but Izzy was the SOUL, man", but GN'R was GN'R because of Axl and Slash.

the butt was hurting because UK SUBS sold the forum to a probably homosexual canadian who didn't even post in D&N btw, who then proceeded to fill the staff with a bunch of fat middle aged women, essentially replicating the old Eric/Madison situation but worse because woke, which destroyed what was once the best place to unwind online.
 
I dont really care about any of this shit, and think people get way too invested in the soap opera of the "community". None of it matters.

But Im also a hypocrite cuz Id just like to point out that I was maybe the first person to notice downzy sucks at running a forum. I was on the staff of MyGNR and shortly after he took over I quit. I dont even recall exactly what it was about him that rubbed me the wrong way. Just his vibe and being privy to behind the scenes convos where I could tell "this guy hates fun and freedom and has a weird agenda. Things are about to change here for the worse. Time to jump ship."

agree 100% that none of this matters. that's why i've been off the boards for so many years. i wouldn't even have this account if not for the final mafia game that never was.

i remember your news reporter days.

i think the first sign of the end of the golden age of mygnr was closing the attitude section. by that point everyone funny was on thegnrforum or GNFNR having been driven off by the abuse of power from a specific subset of mods. now the whole forum just blows. all the great posters from Anything Goes have moved on. all the great posters in D&N were banned early on in the Clownzy days. just sad to see.

oh well. it's been great catching up with everyone.

@maynard perhaps now, after 13 years, we can have peace.

did you know i purchased Axl's jacket from that show? it's incredible that i own a piece of GN'R history, with it being the Axl Rose Disaster II. i hope one day to find the "We now believe even more" banner.

Its possible to not be interested in something - as in, you'd never personally bring it up unprompted, dont spend time thinking about it, and have no strong emotions about it - but you still engage with it when its brought up by others in conversation.

I wanted to make it clear that I dont harbor any resentment and am not interested in personally attacking a guy I haven't interacted with in forever (and I didn't. I merely pointed out that he is bad at running forums. Because he is. Imo. Or at least he was. Havent been to MyGNR in many years.) I just wanted to be clear that it wasnt some kind of festering beef I had towards him.

Many times? No. I dont think so. I think the only time we have ever interacted since 2015 (besides this thread) was in GITR briefly for a short period several years ago. He joined for a little while and then left soon after. I dont recall us talking much. Maybe we did. Idk. I remember he addressed the community about Mojo. Thats the only thing I remember (and iirc he took more responsibility for the Mojo stuff than he is doing here). But I dont recall speaking with him directly except maybe questioning him about Mojo stuff, because I was in the midst of a war with Mojo and his cult at the time.

I dont even know if we were able to be cordial with each other like we are here. I cant even recall with 100% absolute certainty if we spoke at all. But if we did, it wasnt much, and I dont think any of it was in regards to Downzy.

Btw, just for clarification cuz I think I may have been misinterpreted(?) the person I was referring to when I said "I wanted to make it clear I dont harbor any resentment years later" - was Downzy. Not Walker.

(But the same thing also applies to Walker. And anyone else I've ever known on the internet.)
