The most surprising thing about the Atlas and Nothing performances, is that somehow there were still people who thought he wouldn't sound exactly like that.

It’s like with Slither. You can easily imagine him singing it in his baritone register, he’s perfectly capable of doing that.
But for some reason he chooses to sing in that obnoxious falsetto.
It’s his decision to give such atrocious performances night after night and it’s a pretty bold move for him to do that considering he’s a lead singer and he’s got thousands of people paying to see him.
I’m genuinely surprised they still do.

Its the same as bad apples.
He could do this in a baritone/low register to do this song, but uses his shit upper register.
The shit falsetto is his safe space even though he sounds absolutely ridiculous.
The band could tailor a decent setlist to a 2 to 2.5 hour show with his low register, but pride gets in the way.

Absolutely. I think I remember Perfect Crime being on some of those leaked setlists as an alt. and getting all jacked up at the time. But now 10 years later when Axl should be switching to easier songs to sing he's breaking out some of the hardest songs he had to sing in his prime. Perfect Crime was hard to pull off in 91.
 
If he can’t sing bad apples, and he can’t… I can’t fucking wait to hear him try to sing perfect crime. He can barely sing jungle without gulping air harder than a deep sea free diver returning to the surface.
 
Sadly Axl's vocals not powerful enough to carry Atlas, it would've been awesome in the 90s. Visuals have helicopters and Statue of Liberty in the apocalypse so that's a bonus. I'm sure his voice will improve as the tour goes on and he'll nail Atlas at least once.
 
I beg to different. As the moolah clawing continues he’ll deteriorate further… if that’s humanly possible.
